What is a Digital Rebel?

Digital Rebels are consciously challenging and resisting the digital norms and behaviours in the digital world. Anyone can be a Digital Rebel! If you want to take control of your relationship with the digital world, then you are a Digital Rebel.

A balanced approach

Digital Rebels are leading the charge in changing their peers' digital habits, to spend less time on social media or their smartphone, and embrace a form of digital rebellion. They’re rejecting the idea of constant online connectivity and the pressure to be always online, opting instead for a more mindful, balanced approach to technology.

Sense of empowerment

Digital Rebels feel a sense of empowerment in taking control of their relationship with technology, resisting societal pressures that encourage excessive screen time, and redefining what it means to have a meaningful, balanced digital life.

Know tech, not no tech

This "rebellion" is not about rejecting technology entirely but about creating boundaries and choosing more intentional ways to engage with it. We believe in “know tech, not no tech”. This desire often comes from wanting to reclaim time, improve mental well-being, or escape the often toxic pressures and distractions that come with being constantly plugged in.
