Mission + Vision

Flipping the script for the next generation!

Our mission is to empower Gen-Z and Gen-A to build healthier relationships with the digital world through peer-led education, youth-driven campaigns, and a connected community.

We want to become the UK’s leading youth-led voice and provider of digital wellbeing solutions, by cultivating a generation that knows how to thrive with technology, not just survive it. We envision a future where healthy screen habits, critical thinking, and offline joy are the norm.

We Believe

  • Digital wellbeing is important for our physical and mental health.

  • Critical thinking is the antidote to misinformation.

  • Kids must learn to question, evaluate, and reflect in fast-moving online spaces.

  • Peers are more influential than grown-ups.

  • Gen-Z mentors understand the pressures of digital life better than any adult and they speak the language younger children understand and trust.

  • By employing and training young people as mentors, we don’t just educate, we create a movement.

  • Young people should grow up with healthier screen habits, stronger boundaries, and smarter choices.

What We Do

Digital Education &
Digital Citizenship

Digital Intelligenz is our flagship peer-led education programme aimed at 8–12 year olds, empowering the next generation (Gen-A) to build healthier digital habits and thrive online.

Delivered by trained school mentors, our workshops tackle smartphone overuse, social media pressure, mental wellbeing, and digital literacy, all while building critical thinking and resilience for the digital world.

    Education

At FlippGen, we believe education is absolutely essential to ensure young people are equipped to deal with the challenges that the digital world presents. We have developed a digital toolkit to help young people navigate the online world. It is effectively “what we wish we had known before we got a phone”.

  • Who Gives A Flipp Campaign

    Regulation

FlippGen campaigns for stronger regulation to make the digital world a safer place. We believe in strength in numbers and it is clear that many young people share a vision for improving the regulation of AI and social media platforms for young people. This is why we set up For Us, a youth-led coalition, bringing together organisations and individuals who are passionate about empowering the next generation.

  • FlippGen Community

    Conversation

At FlippGen, we believe that conversations are imperative to making the digital world a better place, and to empower young people to build healthy relationships. Whether that is conversations between Gen-Z and Gen-A, or between our rebels and politicians, we believe talking about the issues are the first step in solving them. One of the ways we have conversations, is through our podcast, Flipp The Script.

Digital Rebels

Our youth advisory board of "Digital Rebels" is made up of young people aged 17-25, from diverse walks of life. They are at the heart of all decision making at FlippGen.

The Digital Rebels ensure all work is relevant and meets the needs of young people throughout the UK. Their contribution makes a difference in how we reach young people in an engaging way to ensure they understand the importance of using the digital world for all the good, and not the bad.

They help educate others on striking the right balance between online and offline life, how to stay safe online, and knowing where to get support if people ever need it.
