We are the generation that grew up online, now we’re guiding the next gen through it.

FlippGen is a youth-led organisation tackling digital wellbeing through lived experience. We empower Gen Z to speak directly to younger children, parents, educators and policymakers, bringing a perspective that is both relevant and credible.

Through school programmes, youth-led content and campaigns, and direct engagement with policy and media, not only do we help young people navigate the digital world, but also shape what comes next.

Our youth board of Digital Rebels is made up of young people aged 18-25, from across the country. They are not just part of FlippGen’s work; they are FlippGen. As a youth-led organisation, all key decisions are made by the Digital Rebels.

Three ways we're flipping the script.

FlippGen isn't just a movement, we operate on three fronts at once in order to make impactful change. Education that reaches kids, regulation that changes platforms, and conversation that moves the culture.

  • Content

    Education

At FlippGen, we believe education is absolutely essential to ensure young people are equipped to deal with the challenges that the digital world presents. We have developed a digital toolkit to help young people navigate the online world. It is effectively “what we wish we had known before we got a phone”.

  • Who Gives A Flipp Campaign

    Regulation

FlippGen campaigns for stronger regulation to make the digital world a safer place. We believe in strength in numbers and it is clear that many young people share a vision for improving the regulation of AI and social media platforms for young people. This is why we set up For Us, a youth-led coalition, bringing together organisations and individuals who are passionate about empowering the next generation.

  • FlippGen Community

    Conversation

At FlippGen, we believe that conversations are imperative to making the digital world a better place, and to empower young people to build healthy relationships. Whether that is conversations between Gen-Z and Gen-A, or between our rebels and politicians, we believe talking about the issues are the first step in solving them. One of the ways we have conversations, is through our podcast, Flipp The Script.

Digital Education &
Digital Citizenship

Digital Intelligenz is our flagship peer-led education programme aimed at 9–13 year olds, empowering the next generation (Gen-A) to build healthier digital habits and thrive online.

Delivered by trained school mentors, our workshops tackle smartphone overuse, social media pressure, mental wellbeing, and digital literacy, all while building critical thinking and resilience for the digital world.

Digital Rebels

Our youth advisory board of "Digital Rebels" is made up of young people aged 17-25, from diverse walks of life. They are at the heart of all decision making at FlippGen.

The Digital Rebels ensure all work is relevant and meets the needs of young people throughout the UK. Their contribution makes a difference in how we reach young people in an engaging way to ensure they understand the importance of using the digital world for all the good, and not the bad.

They help educate others on striking the right balance between online and offline life, how to stay safe online, and knowing where to get support if people ever need it.

The average GEN-A spends 7.5 hrs a day on screens 📱 - that’s over 21 years of their life lost to tech 🤯
