A youth led report on creating a digital world for and by us

For young people today, the online world and the physical world are one and the same. Social media, gaming, and AI shape how they socialise, how they learn, and how they see themselves.

This report is the culmination of nearly six months of advocacy, led by the young people at FlippGen — not as subjects, but as authors. Young people co-designed the format, invited participants, secured backing from corporate, civil society and international organisations, hosted the event, and wrote this report.

The findings reveal a generation that is highly digitally aware, thoughtful, and nuanced, one that doesn't want to reject technology, but to mould it into something that truly works for them.
