What we do
Education
We are building a future where every young person receives digital literacy education that equips them with the skills, confidence and critical thinking to thrive, not just survive, in the digital world. Our educational programme goes beyond traditional digital literacy, helping young people understand the why and how behind the platforms they use: how algorithms work, why platforms are free, and what that means for them as users.
Guided by the principle of "what we wish we'd known when we got a phone," our resources are created by Gen-Z for Gen-Z, keeping them genuinely relevant and grounded in lived experience.
We deliver this through our Digital IntelliGenZ workshops in schools, our digital toolkit, and social content, as well as dedicated resources for parents and educators, from phone setting guides to workshops that build confidence in having honest conversations with young people about their online lives.
Conversation
We create the platforms and spaces for young people to share their experiences, shape public discourse and contribute directly to policy conversations. Through Flipp The Script, our blog, and our social media presence on TikTok and Instagram, Gen-Z produce content that is relevant, credible and responsive to emerging issues in a way that traditional organisations simply cannot match.
We don't just platform young voices in their own spaces, we take them into the rooms where decisions are made, from Parliamentary roundtables to direct meetings with Ministers. We also work in the other direction, breaking policy conversations out of Westminster and into schools and community settings, meeting young people where they are.
For parents, guardians and teachers, we offer longer-form content, workshops and youth-led explainers that build understanding and practical skills in real time.
Regulation
We campaign for a digital world that is safe by design; where the safety and wellbeing of young people is built into platforms from the ground up, not added as an afterthought.
Through the For Us coalition, we combine public awareness campaigns with direct engagement with policymakers, regulators and industry leaders, ensuring that the young people most affected by these decisions are present when they are made. Our current priorities include ending addictive features such as infinite scroll and autoplay for under-16s, banning AI companion bots for young people, and making comprehensive digital literacy education mandatory in all schools.
Crucially, all of our advocacy is led by young people themselves; ensuring that the campaigns are authentic, the policies reflect real experiences, and that decision makers hear directly from those whose lives are shaped by the digital world.
